What better way to kick off Issue 39 of your favourite motoring magazine than with some lost treasures, one of which is a fantastic story of a much loved GT-351. Frank saved his backside off to be able to afford an XY GT at the tender age of just 17, and he’s still holding on tight many years later.

Following that is a Barn Find HQ Monaro GTS coupe, which was purchased by ‘Farmer Mick’ after sheer regret when he sold his grandfather’s HQ GTS.

From the Chrysler stable we have a very tasty VC Valiant packing the V8 donk. It’s a gem of a car that will please every fan of Survivor cars.

Next up is no ordinary Statesman, it’s a HJ prototype and was Leo Pruneau’s personal ‘Experimental’ company car with unique features styled by Leo himself.

For fans of Japanese cars, we feature a low-mile Nissan Bluebird TR-X in Beacon Red which blind Freddy couldn’t miss. It’s a real stunner from top to toe.

This issue’s Future Survivor is a pint-sized Honda CRX that makes a huge impression.

Sticking with the theme of small coupes is a feisty and great looking International Survivor, a Mitsubishi Colt Galant GTO. It’s an amazing example of a car that was exported in very small numbers outside of Japan.

We’re sure you’ll enjoy another great edition of nostalgia!
