Issue #7

A$14.95

Kicking off this issue, we have tracked down the official GT-HO ‘press car’ and reunite it with the same location where it was photographed back in 1970. Next up is a little Aussie battler XU-1 which was sent across the ditch to New Zealand when new, only to be repatriated 80,000 odd miles and four decades later back on Aussie soil. Leyland stirs different feelings in people but it can’t be denied that they were thinking outside the square at the time. To celebrate their success in the 1974 World Cup Rally – winning the Targa Florio section, Leyland Australia released the limited edition P76 V8 sports model. Today these cars are certainly a ‘Limited Edition’ with very few surviving. The one featured here is showing a healthy 86,000kms on the clock, with matching numbers and books. Flying the Chrysler flag we have a rare special order Black Centura that has a nuclear story to its credit as well as a big, bold and beautiful Super Blue VJ hardtop which through a comedy of events saved it from being turned into a street machine.

As well as these Brothers in Arms we have the usual suspects with all your favourite Survivor segments.
