ton of muscle
The title of this issue, “Ton of Muscle” says it all and we kick it off with two Australian delivered American muscle cars. In the US, the year 1969 saw some serious muscle and we feature a low-mile 1969 Camaro and a super low mile 1969 Mustang Mach 1 Big Block. They’ve both been looked after and survived the years in incredible condition.
Following on from these two beasts we have another Big Block Ford, an Australian delivered Galaxie this time, also with low miles.
For a bit of home grown Aussie fire we have a “Pocket Rocket” Torana GTR. Often overlooked or turned into fake XU-1s, GTRs are thin on the ground these days which is a pity as they hold their own charm.
We also feature something different from last year’s MotorClassica, the original “Toorak Tractor”, a 1934 Packard Eight in amazing original condition which still commands respect today.
Oh, and we haven’t forgotten the Chrysler-philes with a rare V8 4-speed CL 770 Charger.
All in all we trust you will enjoy the ton of muscle in this issue. Try not to read it in one sitting!
