Survivor Car Australia Collectors Issue Number 2 traces the Thread of Survival of an incredible Plain Jane Holden HQ Monaro. Not a GTS, but a Wild Orchid Metallic 253 three-on-the-tree!
Following in the pink theme is the story of a very unique Wild Plum Ford XA Fairmont Hardtop, which sports a very unusual vinyl roof. The well loved Coke-bottle hips of this XA were nearly taken out by a Coca-Cola truck!
A couple of very desirable European cars feature in Issue Number Two, including a 1973 Jaguar E-Type which has only covered 11,612 miles in its lifetime, as well as a 1971 Fiat Dino which carries the heart and soul of a Ferrari.
You’ll also read about a Hemi Pacer which involves a disastrous car accident and a wedding promise, with pictures that have to be seen to be believed!
Introducing our Hall of Fame - recognising those who have made a significant contribution, or had a major impact on the culture of Australian motoring. Our first inductee has saved and preserved some of the most significant cars Australia has ever seen.
