Issue #46

A$14.95

We kick off this issue titled “New Muscle”, a cracking HSV GTS-R dubbed the Yellow Peril. Packed with all of the best bits from HSV and HRT, it certainly was an eye catching car upon release. We also have a series of good old-fashion Survivor car stories on older Survivors that have defied the odds.

Sometimes overlooked, how about a sensational Bolwell super car found in a shed in remarkably original condition, and with just 31,000 miles on the odometer.

Next up is a combined double feature, the loveliest VC Valiant purchased new by a police officer who was very impressed with the 225cid Valiant police cars he drove for work, and a super-duper Holden HR Special sedan purchased new by a former Light Horseman, both these cars are factory green in colour.

From the blue oval stable is an unusual Falcon XC GS Rally Pack that was re-stamped from the factory due to an incorrect chassis number! This car is complete with groovy velour fabric seat inserts and a continental style vinyl roof, what a time warp.

Holden retired the GTS badge in 1977, but it made a big comeback with the HSV VP GTS 25 years later. In this issue we feature a neat example in fiery Maranello Red.

In regard to International Survivor Barn Finds, they don’t get any bigger than a 1955 Ferrari 250 Europa GT. Initially ordered by an eccentric Italian businessman and then purchased by a Californian collector where it sat for decades before being recently offered for sale.

Once again, the Survivor Car team is proud to present another smashing issue of your favourite car mag, let us know what you think…We’d love to hear from you.
