As it’s the XA’s 50th birthday, we kick off with a ripper, one of the three race car prototype ‘Phase IVs’. It’s the most original and unrestored example with a fully documented ownership history, and less than 5,000 miles since new! One might argue that this may be the ultimate Ford Survivor car.

Next up is a beautiful VC SL/E Commodore that was purchased from the original owner by a die-hard Holden fan. It looks almost new and even the vinyl roof still looks fresh, giving it a unique presence.

For fans of Japanese cars, we have a 1990 Nissan Skyline Silhouette Series 2 purchased new by a hard working Italian immigrant as a retirement present for himself. Some three decades later, it’s still in the family used as a daily driver.

Representing Chrysler is an awesome 1966 Valiant AP6 Regal purchased by the original owner to transport her elderly mother and aunt around in. Ironically, she too was driven around in the AP6 in her later years by her cousin’s daughter.

This issue’s International Survivor is a mind blowing 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T S/E with a 426 Hemi elephant motor. It was christened ‘The Black Ghost’ by Detroit street racers because it would appear out of the darkness, beat all comers in a street race and then disappear back into the night not to be seen again for weeks.

Our Future Survivor is a superb 2016 Ford Falcon FGX XR8 Sprint. The current owner had actually ordered an FGX XR8 after being told by his Ford dealer that this was the last ever Falcon V8. Soon after, he heard that the new limited XR8 Sprint was being released. Consequently, he stormed into the dealership and demanded they do something to rectify the situation!

The Survivor Car team is proud to present another heavy hitting issue which we’re sure you’ll enjoy.
