Issue #29

A$14.95

Kicking off this cracker issue is a beautifully preserved grandpa spec VH Charger 770 with just 57,747 miles which was pampered all its life by one careful owner. No doubt an Elite Survivor, but we’ll let you make up your own mind once you’ve had a closer at it.

You’ll also do a double take when you see these beauties, a matching pair of 1975 model Falcon XB GT Survivors, one Apollo Blue sedan, the other a Red Pepper hardtop, both owned by the same owner who he can’t decide which he likes better. Hell, we’ll take them both!

From the GM stable we’ve found a blue on blue HK Premier with only 45,851 careful miles on the clock – HK Prems are near impossible to find these days, you’ll love this one. Also, from the same brand is a 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe aka Sloper, which arrived as a rolling chassis and had a body beaten and pressed into shape by skilled local coachbuilders.

Jumping forward to Future Survivors, we have a great story on a VP Senator that started off as a standard model but was given the full HSV treatment producing a 5.7 litre monster pumping out an impressive 215kW.

Humble Ford work utes, once a common sight, are now few and far between but we’ve located a very well preserved XT Falcon ute which has been in the same family for all but the first year of its life.

Our International Survivor in this issue, is probably the best 1973 Cadillac Coupe De Ville in Australia, if not the world. This one is truly a museum piece with just 35,230 miles on the clock and every aspect of it like brand new!

Everyone loves a good Barn Find story and in this issue we have two; a HQ Monaro GTS coupe, recently dragged into the bright light to be awakened from its long slumber, and also a Torana Barn Find left behind by someone’s nanna – which is another great read.

So find yourself a quiet corner and tuck yourself in for a ride on the nostalgia bus that is Survivor Car Australia magazine.
