First up, is a lovely Survivor Holden HQ SS in the hard to miss hue of Lettuce Alone. Also featured is a genuine R/T E37 6-Pack Charger which was to haunt the current owner for near 30 years before he finally got his hands on it. The E37 came from the factory with 248bhp, helped by a set of screaming triple Webers – and we don’t mean the BBQ kind!
For Ford fans, we have a beautiful 1975 Ford Landau hardtop which was originally ordered by the CEO of Esso Australia as his company car. Finished in Cosmic Blue with parchment trim, this hardtop has barely travelled 70,000 kilometres since new.
The humble Mini has always been popular and we have an excellent example purchased by a Bendigo jeweller as a gift for his wife. This Morris Mini 850 Survivor was bequeathed to the current owner in 1999, and has approximately 52,000 original miles, and is still on its original tyres.
Not all the 1970s panel vans were big. Inside this issue you’ll meet the free wheelin’ van from Ford, a baby 1978 Escort Sundowner finished in Pine’n’Lime. A flashback to the late ’70s when the van craze was gripping the nation.
