Issue #20

A$14.95

Top of the line Chrysler luxury kicks off this issue, namely a beautiful CH Chrysler by Chrysler with an uber-cool Paisley mod-top. Many of you would remember or have heard of the famous 1968 London to Sydney Marathon; we have managed to track down one of the Ford ‘Works’ XT GT Survivors that took part in this memorable rally, and interview the man who drove it – Bruce Hodgson. As another Survivor Car first, you’ll recount this experience with the story told from the driver’s perspective.

From the land of the rising sun we have a nice Toyota Corona MkII coupe Survivor which has been in the same family all its life. The boys from SCA are also back on the road for ‘The great Tassie road trip’ in the Q-car; a Barbados Green HQ GTS coupe that was a barn-find. Join them as they wind their way through the Apple Isle looking for lost treasures. For our Holden fans, we have a beautiful Brabham Torana that has survived in incredibly amazing condition.

Also in this issue, we commemorate and celebrate GMH’s proud manufacturing past with some never before seen production photographs courtesy of historian, Peter Kelly. We hope you’ll enjoy it and if it brings a tear to your eye then so be it.

Issue 20 of your favourite motoring magazine is another jam packed issue so put the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign up and immerse yourself in an array of stunning chrome bumpered Survivors with a story to tell.
